TROKENCARDS ?
TROKEN stands for TROPHIES as TOKENS.
As you may know there are Trophy hunters out there, who see trophies as collectables. Like how some people collect vinyl records or expensive wines, others collect trophies. It's satisfying to look at a list of all these games and see the numbers go up on those trophies earned.
But what if (when) PSN servers and/or databases went down or even if Sony itself would decide to discontinue their console online services ? The trophies would be lost, like tears in the rain, one said in Blade Runner. Hence, don't you think some of these if not all trophies would become a part of the gaming History ?
For that reasons we allow PSN users to tokenize their trophies as Non-Fungible Tokens (NFT). As such, no matter what happen in the future, your trophies will remain for ever in the Blockchain. For each given item, our engine automatically generates the visual with your PSN profile nickname, the official Game logo and name, the Trophy icon and name, the date by which it was earned, its grade and rarity.
All these data are coded within the NFT as usable Metadata for the Opensea Marketplace, so that you can list them and/or acquire trophies from others to complete your personal collection.
GRADES and RARITIES.
According to PSN, Trophies are categorised into four grades of difficulty. The number and grades of trophies, and the conditions for earning them, vary from game to game. Grades are Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum.
Also, there are four levels of rarity for trophies. The rarity level depends on how many players have earned the same trophy. Trophy rarity increases in this order: common, rare, very rare, ultra rare.
Our Troken platform fetches all your Trophies for any grades and rarities levels, except COMMON ones.
I HAVE ONLY BRONZE AND NOT SO "RARE" TROPHIES. IS IT WORTH TROKENIZING'EM ?
The answer is definitely YES.
First of all, a BRONZE trophy can be rare ! Most of gamers do not care about low level trophies so there can be a little number of people who has achieved that kind of trophy.
On the contrary you can have a GOLD trophy which has been earned by a large number of people so its rarity is "common" or just rare.
But still keep in mind that the rarity we're talking here is the PSN Rarity, not the TROKENCARDS one ! Therefore, you could have a not so rare Trophy that would become a super rare one in the Blockchain !
